However, the latter contains the best suggestion I have heard so far, and it comes from a B738 pilot: rapid descent from 2000 ft after probably missing the glide slope (likely in idle), recovery to normal attitude thereafter but failure to increase power again, reaction to alarms in cockpit when speed and sink rate exceeded safe margins but not enough time to save the situation due to necessary engine spin-up. Not a nice scenario, but one I would put my money on if forced to choose...
